A warm and confident welcome to Perform Chingford at Chingford United Reformed Church! At Perform, we put child development at the heart of everything we do. Come and try a free class and find out.

We started running classes at Chingford United Reformed Church in January 2025 and are currently here every week during term-time on Mondays.

At Perform Chingford, the Producer of the classes is Emily and the Teacher is Alice. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Gemma.

The current term runs from 7th September to 14th December with no sessions on 26th October (half-term).

Drivers can reach the church by turning off Station Road (A1069) onto Buxton Road in central Chingford.

Teaching at Perform is the highlight of my week. I joined the Perform team in 2023 after completing my Masters at Performers College. Alongside performing professionally, I've discovered a real passion for inspiring young people through drama. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing children grow in confidence, develop new skills, and achieve things they never thought possible. Creating a fun, supportive environment where every child feels encouraged to shine is what I love most about teaching.

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I'm one of the Perform Area Partners. I'm so lucky to meet so many wonderful Perform children when I visit different classes and watching their confidence blossom throughout their time with us. My background is musical theatre and I have performed in many different shows in the West End and in theatres around the UK. During my time in Les Miserables, I got to sing at the European football final at Wembley and the 25th anniversary concert at the O2!
