This holiday course will be run by Jamie. The Area Partner will be Oliver.

Fred is extremely shy, socially anxious and self-conscious, but he LOVES Perform. I don't know what Jamie does in there, but I'm so grateful to him for making my little boy feel so happy and so valued!

Hello! Welcome to Perform Clerkenwell at Exmouth Market Centre!

At Perform, we focus on the 4 Cs - confidence, concentration, coordination and communication and every one of our activities is designed to boost these essential life skills.

We started running classes at Exmouth Market Centre in January 2014 and are currently here every week during term-time on Mondays.

At Perform Clerkenwell, the Producer of the classes is Jamie and the Teacher is Luisa. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Gemma.

The current term runs from 7th September to 14th December with no sessions on 26th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drivers can reach Exmouth Market via Rosebery Avenue (A401) or Farringdon Road (A201) in Clerkenwell. Turn onto Pine Street or Rosoman Street to approach the venue.

On-street pay-and-display parking is available on surrounding streets.

Farringdon and Angel stations are both a ten-minute walk away. Local buses run along Rosebery Avenue and Farringdon Road.

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Exmouth Market Centre in Clerkenwell are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

PRODUCER

Jamie

I have been a Producer at Perform since 2021 after graduating from The Musical Theatre Academy in London. I've also been working as a performer and vocalist since 2017! I love using drama and imaginative play to help develop children's confidence and communication skills - and seeing their progress each week is such a joy and privilege.

TEACHER

Luisa

I've been with Perform since 2024. One of my favourite things about teaching is witnessing the moment when a child overcomes something they've been afraid of, like speaking in front of an audience. You can see it in their stance and facial expression how proud they are of themselves, and there is nothing like it. Outside Perform, I'm an actor and stand-up comedian.

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I'm one of the Perform Area Partners. I'm so lucky to meet so many wonderful Perform children when I visit different classes and watching their confidence blossom throughout their time with us. My background is musical theatre and I have performed in many different shows in the West End and in theatres around the UK. During my time in Les Miserables, I got to sing at the European football final at Wembley and the 25th anniversary concert at the O2!

AREA PARTNER

Oliver

Hi, I'm Oli! I've been with Perform since 2012 and work as an Area Partner, as well as running my own classes. Outside of Perform, I produce theatre shows and work in artist and live event management. Children have an incredible ability to find joy in the world around them, and that's one of the things I love most about my job. As an Area Partner, it's a privilege to support and develop our Teachers, helping even more children celebrate their individuality and discover what they're capable of.
