Toma Motiejunaite - Perform St Albans parent

A warm welcome to Perform St Albans at St Albans United Reformed Church Homewood. We offer weekly drama, dance and singing classes for children aged 4-12 using unique songs, dances, games and exercises designed to boost child development.

We started running classes at St Albans United Reformed Church Homewood in September 2010 and are currently here every week during term-time on Wednesdays.

At Perform St Albans, the Producer of the classes is Emily and the Teacher is Lewis. The schools are looked after by our Area Partner, Gemma.

The current term runs from 2nd September to 16th December with no sessions on 28th October (half-term).

Driving from St Albans city centre, follow St Peter's Street or Hatfield Road (A1057), then turn onto Sandpit Lane and continue until turning onto Homewood Road.

My name is Emily and I've been producing classes with Perform for over 8 years. I love using my experience as an actor to inspire and teach the children. I love seeing your children thrive and hearing all the stories of how much drama has had an impact on them. Outside of Perform, you may have heard my voice on a Tonies box or audiobook.

TEACHER

Lewis

I have been teaching and producing classes with Perform since 2019. It's awesome to teach and inspire children every week, using the skillset I've built through the last 15 years. I've worked in the world of theatre as part of a children's theatre company, as well as in lighting and sound. I love coming to class each week and creating a space for children to discover and showcase their amazing talent and personalities!

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I'm one of the Perform Area Partners. I'm so lucky to meet so many wonderful Perform children when I visit different classes and watching their confidence blossom throughout their time with us. My background is musical theatre and I have performed in many different shows in the West End and in theatres around the UK. During my time in Les Miserables, I got to sing at the European football final at Wembley and the 25th anniversary concert at the O2!
