Emily Pavoux - Perform Purley parent

Welcome to Perform Purley at Purley United Reformed Church - dedicated to building confidence, concentration, communication and coordination using performing arts.

We started running classes at Purley United Reformed Church in September 2023 and are currently here every week during term-time on Fridays.

At Perform Purley, the Producer of the classes is Eleanor Meg and the Teacher is Danielle. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Gemma.

The current term runs from 4th September to 18th December with no sessions on 30th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Follow Brighton Road (A235) or Purley Way (A23) into Purley centre. Continue toward South Croydon along Brighton Road; the church is beside Purley Hospital.

For parking, use the nearby pay-and-display multi-storey car park located on Whytecliffe Road South.

Purley station is a five-minute walk away. Local bus routes, including the 60, 166, 407, and 466, stop along Brighton Road near the church.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Purley United Reformed Church in Purley are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

PRODUCER

Eleanor Meg

I have been producing at Perform since 2023. I am an opera singing and actor when I'm not at Perform and I also teach private signing lesson to all ages. It's so rewarding to work at a place where you get to see kids flourish, grow into super young performers and find their own confidence and love for the stage.

TEACHER

Danielle

I love sharing my passion for dance, singing and acting while helping children build confidence and have fun. Alongside teaching at Perform, I've performed in pantomimes and at the National Theatre. My favourite thing about Perform is watching every child grow in confidence and leave my classes smiling.

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I've been producing classes with Perform since 2011. I love using my experience as an actor to inspire and teach children. It is magical to see how much the children grow in confidence through laughter and play at Perform. Outside of Perform I am a Mum of two beautiful children and I love heading to the beach with them for a relaxing day of sun, sea and sand!
