A warm welcome to Perform Weston Super Mare at Parklands Educate Together Primary School. We offer weekly drama, dance and singing classes for children aged 4-12 using unique songs, dances, games and exercises designed to boost child development.

We started running classes at Parklands Educate Together Primary School in September 2015 and are currently here every week during term-time on Fridays.

At Perform Weston Super Mare, the Producer of the classes is Charlotte and the Teacher is Dean. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Gemma.

The current term runs from 4th September to 18th December with no sessions on 30th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

From Somerset Avenue (A371) or Herluin Way, enter Locking Parklands via Anson Way. Turn onto McCrae Road to access the school premises.

Visitors can use limited on-site parking spaces. Additional street parking is available along McCrae Road and surrounding residential streets.

Weston-super-Mare train station is a short bus or taxi ride away. Local buses serve the Locking Parklands area, stopping a short walk from the school.

I've been producing Perform classes since 2015, not long after graduating Bath Spa University with a degree in Musical Theatre. I love seeing how drama helps children grow in confidence and it's such a joy to see them thrive. Out side of Perform, I love to spend time with my family and watch musicals.

TEACHER

Dean

I've loved being a part of the Perform team since 2025. Seeing the children come out of their shells and grow every week is the best part of what I do. I enjoy creating a fun, supportive environment where everyone feels encouraged to use their imagination and have a go. Outside of Perform, I work in an SEN school and across a range of different roles in theatre, from acting to technical work.

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I've been producing classes with Perform since 2011. I love using my experience as an actor to inspire and teach children. It is magical to see how much the children grow in confidence through laughter and play at Perform. Outside of Perform I am a Mum of two beautiful children and I love heading to the beach with them for a relaxing day of sun, sea and sand!
