Hello! Welcome to Perform Chislehurst at Chislehurst Methodist Church!

At Perform, we focus on the 4 Cs - confidence, concentration, coordination and communication and every one of our activities is designed to boost these essential life skills.

We started running classes at Chislehurst Methodist Church in January 2016 and are currently here every week during term-time on Thursdays.

At Perform Chislehurst, the Producer of the classes is Michelina and the Teacher is Josi. The schools are looked after by our Area Partner, Oliver.

The current term runs from 3rd September to 17th December with no sessions on 29th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

The church is located on Prince Imperial Road in Chislehurst. Drivers can reach the venue via Bromley Road or Perry Street, turning off near Chislehurst High Street onto Prince Imperial Road.

Free parking is available in the small on-site car park - there is also free parking on the street.

Chislehurst railway station is about a 20-minute walk away, or a short bus ride via local routes stopping on nearby High Street.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Chislehurst Methodist Church in Chislehurst are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. Michelina

I've been teaching at Perform for the last 3 years. I never know who has more fun at class, the children or me! It's such a gift to pass my love of music, theatre, and dance on to the next generation. I graduated from East 15 Acting School, and am originally from the US. I perform professionally, and have even had the privilege of appearing in a few of Perform's West End shows. I love staying active by running, taking dance classes, and going on walks with my puppy!

TEACHER

Josi

My name is Josi and I'm so excited to be a part of the Perform team! I love creating a fun and supportive environment where children can build confidence, use their imagination and enjoy expressing themselves. Outside of Perform, I'm involved in community theatre which allows me to continue sharing my passion for performance and storytelling.

AREA PARTNER

Oliver

Hi, I'm Oli! I've been with Perform since 2012 and work as an Area Partner, as well as running my own classes. Outside of Perform, I produce theatre shows and work in artist and live event management. Children have an incredible ability to find joy in the world around them, and that's one of the things I love most about my job. As an Area Partner, it's a privilege to support and develop our Teachers, helping even more children celebrate their individuality and discover what they're capable of.
