Hello! Welcome to Perform Hither Green at Manor House Library!

At Perform, we focus on the 4 Cs - confidence, concentration, coordination and communication and every one of our activities is designed to boost these essential life skills.

Please note that Manor House Library is a temporary venue for Perform Hither Green. Check the class listings to the left for details of the usual venue.

At Perform Hither Green, the Producer of the classes is Maisie and the Teacher is Amy. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Gemma.

The current term runs from 2nd September to 16th December with no sessions on 28th October (half-term).

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Manor House Library in Hither Green are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

Teaching at Perform brings me so much joy and is the highlight of my week! I am always amazed by the children's progress when we get to show week each term. I adore inspiring the younger generation and staying inspired myself. I watch as much live theatre as I can, 'Oliver!' being one of my favourites!

TEACHER

I started teaching and producing with Perform last term after graduating from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. I am really passionate about the performing arts and I love watching the children's confidence grow in class every week! I grew up loving musical theatre; the first musical I ever watched was Annie when I was 4 years old.

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I'm one of the Perform Area Partners. I'm so lucky to meet so many wonderful Perform children when I visit different classes and watching their confidence blossom throughout their time with us. My background is musical theatre and I have performed in many different shows in the West End and in theatres around the UK. During my time in Les Miserables, I got to sing at the European football final at Wembley and the 25th anniversary concert at the O2!

Jack absolutely loves Perform. He used to be a bit reluctant to join new clubs where he didn't know anyone but as soon as he'd had his taster session he was so keen to return and comes out each week full of beans and eager for the next session.
