At Perform Eddington at Storey's Field Centre, our focus is not about teaching rigorous techniques, memorisation and repetition to produce a 'perfect performance'. Instead, we use drama-based games, exercises, songs and dances in an imaginative and fun way to help boost child development.

We started running classes at Storey's Field Centre in September 2026 and are currently here every week during term-time on Mondays.

At Perform Eddington, the Producer of the classes is Hannah and the Teacher is Lauren. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Sophie.

The current term runs from 14th September to 14th December with no sessions on 26th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drive via Madingley Road (A1303) or Huntingdon Road (A1307), turning onto Eddington Avenue. Follow the road until you see the venue located centrally within the development.

On-site parking is limited with paid visitor bays along nearby streets. Drivers can use Madingley Road Park and Ride, a short 5 to 10-minute walk away.

Universal bus services (U1 and U2) run frequently from central Cambridge and the railway station, stopping right outside the centre on Eddington Avenue.

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Storey's Field Centre in Eddington are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

PRODUCER

Hannah

I've been part of the Perform family since 2015 and work as an Area Partner and Producer. I also oversee our LAMDA classes and deliver SEN training. My favourite part of the job is making children laugh and creating a safe space where they can thrive. Outside of Perform, you'll usually find me reading, walking my dogs or learning something new. I'm particularly interested in Psychology and History!

TEACHER

Lauren

I have been working with Perform since 2022. I love using my experience as an actress and writer to encourage the children to use their big imaginations and always give every activity a try. When I am not teaching, you will find me writing plays or performing in my improvisation group. I absolutely adore being creative!

AREA PARTNER

Sophie

I'm a Perform Teacher, Producer and Area Partner. I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and alongside working for Perform have appeared in many television programmes for the BBC and Channel 4. Recently, I've been in several of the Perform shows in the West End! What I love about teaching for Perform is seeing how much children change during their time with us. It is a joy to see children having so much fun as they are learning!
