A warm and confident welcome to Perform Haywards Heath at St Wilfrid's Centenary Hall! At Perform, we put child development at the heart of everything we do. Come and try a free class and find out.

We started running classes at St Wilfrid's Centenary Hall in September 2014 and are currently here every week during term-time on Saturdays.

At Perform Haywards Heath, the Producer of the classes is David and the Teacher is Amy. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Jade.

The current term runs from 5th September to 12th December.

How to get here and parking:

Drive via South Road (B2112) or Sussex Road (B2112) into Haywards Heath town centre, turning onto Church Road. Take St Wilfrid's Way, where The Centenary Hall is located directly behind the church.

A small car park is available for visitors. Additional pay-and-display parking is conveniently located nearby at the Orchards Shopping Centre car park.

Haywards Heath railway station is roughly a 15-minute walk away. Local bus services stop frequently along nearby South Road and Southgate Drive.

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at St Wilfrid's Centenary Hall in Haywards Heath are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

PRODUCER

David

I've been producing classes with Perform since 2017. I'm an experienced children's theatre actor, having toured major theatres across the UK and internationally. I've played some of the most popular children's characters in TV and literature, including Daddy Pig from Peppa Pig and Elmer the Patchwork Elephant. I love having the opportunity to inspire children and use my theatrical skills to help them develop their confidence as well as have the most fun every single week.

TEACHER

Amy

I've been teaching at Perform since September 2025 after graduating from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I've always loved teaching and working with children, so it has been a real joy to work at Perform and watch young people shine. Other than teaching at Perform, I love seeing shows in the West End and my all time favourite musical is West Side Story!

AREA PARTNER

Jade

I trained in Musical Theatre at Midlands Academy Of Dance and Drama I started teaching at Perform back in 2006, and I still absolutely love it today! It's so rewarding to see every child flourish and grow in confidence term by term. I am also a Perform Area Partner, so every day brings a different job! Outside of Perform, you'll usually find me at a football pitch or scooter park watching my children play. I also enjoy reformer Pilates and trips to the theatre.
