Bring early learning to life through drama! Our Foundation Stage workshops help children explore the world around them through storytelling, music, movement, and role-play. Led by DBS-checked facilitators, each session supports EYFS goals while sparking imagination and confidence.

From transport to farming, African culture to emergency helpers, choose up to three workshops for a half-day or five for a full day, flexibly tailored to your needs.

African Culture

Take your class on an unforgettable journey through the vibrant sights, sounds and stories of Africa. From energetic tribal dances to camouflaging in the jungle, children explore traditions, animals and music from the second largest continent in the world.

This interactive drama workshop brings African culture to life through storytelling, movement and imaginative play. Through interactive drama, children will:

  • Travel to the African jungle on a roleplay adventure
  • Learn traditional tribal dances and create their own group chant
  • Act out the story of Anansi and the Turtle
  • Discover jungle animals and practise greetings in different African languages

Learning objectives:

  • Understand that Africa is a continent with diverse cultures, languages and traditions
  • Recognise and explore cultural practices such as storytelling, dance and music
  • Develop teamwork, listening and performance skills through drama activities

Beep! Beep!

All aboard! Join the friendly local bus conductor on a lively transport adventure where children sing, move, and imagine their way through city streets, rivers, railways and skies.

This fast-paced, interactive workshop lets little learners chug like trains, zoom like rockets and help save a kitten in need! Perfect for curious minds and energetic explorers. Children will:

  • Ride on imaginary buses, boats, rockets and trains
  • Learn to follow action commands using sound and gesture
  • Roleplay as firefighters, pilots and conductors
  • Sing, dance and act out well-known transport-themed songs

Learning objectives:

  • To identify and describe different types of transport
  • To respond physically and vocally to movement and sound cues
  • To explore imaginative storytelling through character roleplay

Funky Farmyard

Step into your wellies and join Farmer Fred or Fran for a fun-filled day down on the Funky Farmyard! This lively and imaginative drama workshop gets little ones clucking, mooing, and oinking as they learn about life on the farm through music, movement and storytelling.

Perfect for early years learners, this experience builds confidence, encourages teamwork and explores where our food comes from in a playful and memorable way. Children will:

  • Gallop, dig, and dance through a physical farm-themed warm-up
  • Embody different farm animals and explore their unique movements and sounds
  • Help round up runaway animals using listening and problem-solving skills
  • Discover how farmers grow food and care for animals through song, storytelling and roleplay

Learning objectives:

  • Develop confidence, imagination and teamwork through roleplay
  • Recognise and name a variety of common farm animals and their sounds
  • Understand the basic role of a farmer and where some of our food comes from

People who help us

Discover the everyday heroes who keep our communities safe, healthy and happy in this joyful and energetic drama workshop. Led by either Firefighter Finn or Doctor Proctor, children go on an imaginative journey through their local environment, meeting doctors, firefighters, police officers and more.

With singing, roleplay, rescue missions, and detective games, pupils explore how we can all help others in small but powerful ways. Children will:

  • Take part in rescue missions and emergencies using movement and voice
  • Roleplay community helpers like dentists, police officers and lollipop people
  • Learn and perform themed songs
  • Join in imaginative games to spot who's missing, who's helping, and how they can help too

Learning objectives:

  • Understand the roles of key people in the community and how they help us
  • Use drama and imagination to explore ideas around safety, responsibility and kindness
  • Learn what an emergency is, how to respond, and who to turn to for help

Rumble in the jungle

Join our Jungle Explorer on a thrilling mission through the jungle to rescue Snow, one of the last white lions on Earth.

From camouflage training and animal encounters to sneaking past crocodiles and tricking Lord Braggard, children will dive into a world of sound, movement and imaginative storytelling. Children will:

  • Travel deep into the jungle on a dramatic quest to save an endangered lion
  • Learn animal movements and camouflage techniques through song and physical theatre
  • Sing and dance to songs from Jungle Rumble, including the Banana Pie Rap and Jungle Rumble Beat
  • Explore how to work together to protect the jungle and its creatures

Learning objectives:

  • Understand how jungles help our planet and why they need protecting
  • Learn about different animals and environments found in the jungle
  • Develop confidence, cooperation, communication and creativity through immersive roleplay
