Castles, knights and princesses

Teacher and pupil

A magical adventure

From September to December 2025, we are excited to offer free performing arts-based workshops to selected primary schools.

Each 25-minute workshop is led by a professionally trained, DBS-checked actor/drama teacher who will appear in character to guide students through a world of imaginative and educational activities.

This enchanting workshop transports Reception and Key Stage 1 students into a mythical world of castles, knights, and princesses. Each group takes part in age-appropriate activities that support key learning objectives across the English, History, and PSHE national curriculums. It links directly to the KS1 History topic on Castles, Knights and Princesses by helping children explore significant historical figures and events and understand the key features of medieval life, including the roles of royalty, knights and castle life.
