Autumn 2019- Castles, Knights & Princesses

From September to December 2019, Perform For Schools is offering arts-based sessions to selected primary schools as part of their popular Drama4ALL project.

Each 25 minute workshop is led by an experienced actor/drama teacher appearing in role as The Lady of the Lake.

Using drama, dance and singing, they’ll take the children on a fantastical journey around the theme of Castles, Knights & Princesses. The children will go on a thrilling adventure to recover the Sword in the Stone from the wicked Morgan Le Fey. On the way, they’ll encounter Queen Guinevere and brave Sir Lancelot before making it back to The Round Table in time for the celebrations in Camelot.

Specially formulated for EYFS and KS1 children, these workshops are ideal as an introduction to the performing arts or as a fun treat during the school term. These workshops are extremely popular and are booked in a first come first served basis.

Jade is absolutely brilliant and pleasure to have in school. She pitches it perfectly to all of our children. She is extremely professional and is very flexible in how she adapts to the school day.

The children all seemed to absolutely love the workshop. It was fun, engaging and inclusive to all and definitely something that was needed during a time like this. It was so lovely to see the children's faces light up and full of excitement.

A fantastic workshop for the children. They were all engaged and enthusiastic and clearly enjoyed what they were doing. Behaviour was managed very well and the pace of the session kept all children on task. Thank you very much!

We all came out of the sessions saying what an amazing leader Rebekah was. She had the children completely mesmerised and they were all completely on board with the story. The children were coming out saying how brilliant it was and they continued the story during child initiated learning play once we got back to class. One of the younger nursery children was able to tell me all about the session at the end of the day with such enthusiasm. It was a great experience - thank you!
