Have fun with your child and help them improve their balance and coordination skills with this game.
By now your child can probably walk, run and jump, but balancing takes a little more concentration. You'll need a piece of masking tape to stick to the floor - alternatively - if you're playing outside you might like to draw a line in chalk.
Tell your child that this line is a tight rope. Challenge your child to walk along the rope without losing their balance. As they get better and better at the game you can challenge them to hop along it, balance something on their heads and walk along it and so on. You can play along too!
