Simon says
Games like Simon Says are great for developing listening skills, why not have a go at home?
I'm sure you'll remember playing yourself - the rules are simple. Your child must obey the instructions given as long as you say "Simon says..." first.
Start off nice and easy with a few slow commands preceded with "Simon says...". Gradually make the commands faster and faster and see if you can catch your child out. Be sure to congratulate them when they do well; and if they get it wrong remind them - "Uh oh, Simon didn't say to do that!"
