Hot or cold
Help foster your child's sense of independence with this game.
It's a little like hide and seek, however rather than taking it in turns to hide and then find each other, you instead hide an object which your child has to find.
To help in the quest you simply let your child know whether they are close to the object by calling out hot when they are near and cold when they are not.
You can start off the game by keeping it fairly easy, perhaps the object or a part of the object can actually be seen, but the rest is hidden - then make it more tricky by hiding the object fully, or indeed picking a smaller object which may be harder to find.
