The Perform Bursary Scheme is funded by the Perform Bursary Fund (PBF) which is a non-profit company limited by guarantee. Registered with Companies House and audited annually in accordance with required laws and regulations.
Governance
The PBF is governed by four trustees, one who jointly owns and operates Perform and three independent trustees who understand and are committed to the values and approach of the PBF. Trustee meetings are carried out quarterly and include the review of financial accounts, the setting of and review of the PBF strategic direction, and the assessment of applicants.
There are clear policies and procedures in place for young people, as required by law and in line with child protection good practice.
Human Resources
The PBF is supported by four trustees and currently administrative support through Perform. It is intended that the trustees will continue to carry out the assessment of applicants on a tri-annual basis, aligned with the start of each new drama course. To support the securing of additional income a fundraiser will be contracted to support the completion of applications and identification of funding sources that have aligned values to the Scheme.
